When John was just a boy, he received a birthday present that would accompany him for many years of his life: his little dog “Samuelito”. Samuel was one of the first pets he had and was with him and his family for 13 years, filling their lives with beautiful moments.
As part of the natural cycle of life, Samuel died at the age of 13 due to natural causes. That's when John met Parque de Asís, the place he chose to give him a dignified burial and where Samuelito has rested for the past 13 years.
“I didn't live in a house, I lived in an apartment, and this allowed me to at least keep it here and be able to come and see it,” John recalls.
But Samuelito's story wouldn't end at his grave. Today, John faces a new chapter in his life: he will move south for a job opportunity and, after 13 years, he decided to take his partner's ashes with him in an amphora. A possibility offered by Parque de Asís to their guardians, allowing them to move the remains of their pets and keep them close, even when their lives take new directions.
“I would also like to thank Parque de Asís and the entire team that made sure that Samuelito was well and worthily buried. Thank them for all the support they provided to me and my family throughout this process.”
The story of John and Samuelito reflects one of the values that Parque de Asís seeks to deliver: to accompany families in the different stages of saying goodbye and remembering their pets. Because love for them doesn't end with their departure.
