What does the pet cremation service include?

Why isn't it advisable to bury my pet at home?
Although many people want to bury their pet in the garden as a form of intimate farewell, burying pets at home is neither recommended nor legal in many communes in Chile. Here's why:
- Health risks
A pet's body can contain bacteria, viruses, or parasites that pose a risk to human and other animal health if not handled properly. Natural decay can also contaminate soil or groundwater.
- Health regulation
In the Metropolitan Region and other areas of the country, there are regulations that prohibit the burial of animals in private homes. Health authorities recommend using authorized cremation or burial services to avoid sanctions and protect the environment.
- Environmental impact
Burials without sanitary measures can contaminate the ground with decomposing liquids, affecting nearby plants, animals and water sources.

Can flowers, ornaments or souvenirs be brought to the place of burial?
We understand the desire of many guardians to pay homage to their pets with flowers, stuffed animals or commemorative objects. However, in Parque de Asís, by internal regulations, it is not allowed to leave any type of ornament or accessory in the place of burial.
According to our regulations (point 7):
Pets should be buried without accessories such as collars, toys, blankets or beds. It is not allowed to add items to the tomb, including statues, plants, artificial flowers, crosses, candles, stuffed animals or modifications to the tombstone or plaque provided by the administration.
This standard seeks to keep the natural environment clean and uniform for all families, while also respecting the safety of the place.
Can the commemorative plaque carry a personalized message?
No. In Parque de Asís, the commemorative plaque is delivered exclusively by the administration and cannot be modified or personalized with farewell messages, symbols or phrases.
According to our internal regulations:
The plate is standard for all graves, maintaining a uniform and respectful aesthetic throughout the cemetery. The change or alteration of the headstone provided by the administration is not allowed.
